GRT - GROUP FOR TRANSCULTURAL RELATIONS - is an organization in favor of women. Although violence against women is recognized as one of the most important problems worldwide and several studies in Europe confirm that some specific groups, such as women belonging to ethnic minority and migrant communities, are more at risk than others, hardly ever. intervention programs appear to be specific for this category of women. The GEMMA - Gender-Based Empowerment of Women through a Multiagency Approach project aims to offer services suited to the needs of migrant women and to raise public awareness of the issue in question. The objective of the project is developed on three levels of action, inspired by the ecological model of understanding the violence of the World Health Organization (WHO). On the individual level, the project aims to offer interventions and responses that are suited to the needs of migrant women or women belonging to minority ethnic communities who have survived violence. At the community level, the aim is to implement awareness-raising works and promote the creation of protective networks to prevent and combat violence within local communities. On the social level, however, the project aims to improve the capacity of services to cooperate and respond to the needs of women survivors of violence who belong to vulnerable groups. The realization of this project involves several phases and specific actions aimed at achieving the expected objectives. The first phase of its implementation involves an in-depth analysis of the context through an analysis of legislation and specific protection measures and a mapping of services at local level that deal with women victims of violence, belonging to ethnic minority or migrant groups. . In addition to this, in this first phase, focus groups are planned with representatives of local services and qualitative interviews with women who have survived violence. The second phase of the project, on the other hand, includes seminars with experts at European level and the creation of round tables involving key members of ethnic minority or migrant communities, in order to share research results and the transnational community strategy. The creation of these round tables will be followed by a series of meetings aimed at creating operational local protocols starting from the transnational guidelines. The third phase of the project then includes training aimed at developing the skills for the management of cases of women survivors of violence in accordance with a culturally sensitive approach, and some workshops aimed at migrant communities in order to raise awareness and prevent gender-based violence. . The final beneficiaries of this project are migrant women or women belonging to minority ethnic communities who have survived or are at risk of violence. In addition, other target groups of the project are health, psycho-social and legal professionals who will have the opportunity to develop strategies and skills to operate in a coordinated and culturally sensitive way, and members of ethnic minority and migrant communities, who will have the possibility of improving their knowledge and awareness on the phenomenon of gender-based violence. www.grtitalia.org

AMG - MONDO GIUSTO ASSOCIATION - is an Association that has a long gestation period in the former Belgian Congo; in the early 1960s. Dr. Locatelli analyzes the very serious condition of infant protein malnutrition, which at the time directly caused the deaths within 5 years of life of three out of ten children, Dr. Locatelli understood that the administration of soya to children in their two years of age, at the time of weaning , could integrate the cassava meal that the family ate by custom. Besides soya, it would have been obvious to supply powdered milk (there is no dairy cow farm in the region) but its cost was and is prohibitive. Locatelli, an expert grower, selected a variety of soya suitable for the land, which she spread with her surname. The operational commitment was implemented in a context of mutual listening, animation and interactive awareness, only in the first 2-3 years of presence were initiatives implemented, such as the first soybean fields and the first mill, as our direct proposal. to obtain trust, consent, collaboration; subsequently we worked together, at equal levels, in conscious respect of the local human context, through the feasibility study of the proposals that emerged from the contacts with the groups directly concerned and with their representatives expressed in suitable representative committees of the communities. WE WORLD - ONLUS INTERVITA - is an organization that fights for the rights of children and women. Always committed to the protection of children, we have realized on the ground that mothers, and even more generally women, have always been victims of unacceptable violations of their fundamental human rights. Too many women are still discriminated against, harassed and manipulated. Working with children, they could not therefore remain indifferent to situations of violence, abuse and mistreatment against women, which are unacceptable and often forgotten. It is for this reason, therefore, that the defense of women's rights and the fight against all forms of gender-based violence has become one of the priorities of WeWorld's intervention in the territories where it operates. In a world where inequalities are increasing and poverty remains an unacceptable scandal, women, girls, boys and teenagers are at risk of poverty, exclusion and violence. Promoting their economic, educational, health, social, cultural and political inclusion and preventing and combating the violence that affects them, is a priority for WeWorld in Italy and in the world. If women have equal opportunities with men, they improve children's rights and of girls, and vice versa, the protection of the rights of boys and girls is important for the achievement of women's rights. www.weworld.it

CIAI - CENTRO ITALIANO AIUTI ALL CHILDHOOD - is an organization founded in 1968 by a group of families who have embarked on the experience of international adoption and, to promote it and spread its meaning, has joined an association: CIAI. Today, among the many NGOs that take care of children, we at CIAI stand out precisely for our unique approach: every child is like a child. The parenting matrix, based on the direct experience of children's vulnerabilities, is the root of our actions. Acting as a parent for us means, both for adoption and for cooperation, looking at each child as one looks at a child. It is an overall look at his needs that translates into targeted actions not only directed at him, but also at strategic actors who - only together - can activate the dynamics of change: family, communities and institutions. This model triggers decisive virtuous effects that break the circle of loneliness and bring us closer to the goal of "no more lonely children". 50 years ago, visionary pioneers introduced the concept of international adoption in Italy and with that the culture of inclusion, the richness of difference. Today, when all this is incredibly questioned, we are committed to continue with the same tenacity and the same firmness, against any violation of rights and any social exclusion. They work with presence, with daily witness, demonstrating that a welcoming world open to differences is not only possible but is already a reality, and will be done until every child, every being, is no longer alone. www.ciai.it

APURIMAC ONLUS - is an organization founded in 1992 to support the Italian Augustinian mission that has been operating since 1968 in the Peruvian region of Apurimac, from which we took our name. Our work began in the Andes, at an altitude of 4,000 meters, and then extended to the cities of Cuzco and Lima. The Apurimac region is characterized by extreme geographical and economic isolation. The local population lives only thanks to a subsistence economy, lacking both communication routes and capital and technologies useful for exploiting the riches of the subsoil. These discomforts, together with a high rate of illiteracy and precarious sanitation conditions, are the main plagues that we are committed to treating. Since 2003, with the recognition of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organization) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have come as far as Africa, with the same guiding objective, that is to support the development projects of the Augustinian missions that work for the South of the world. In Africa we work in Nigeria, Algeria, Kenya and since 2012 we have launched a country program in Nigeria to promote peace and intercultural dialogue. Apurimac ETS works for the construction of a civil society in which every periphery, geographical and existential, is the engine of social changes based on the full recognition of individual and collective rights, equal opportunities, equality and social justice. It is the value thanks to which Apurimac ETS comes to life. Support for the Augustinian missions around the world was the starting point for the interventions of Apurimac ETS, so much so that the association constitutes an instrument of human promotion for the mission of the Augustinian Order. Volunteering, understood as a free gesture aimed at the well-being of others, is the input from which all association initiatives are born. Volunteering is an expression of solidarity and represents an added value that guarantees a strong social impact to the associative activities of Apurimac ETS. www.apurimac.it
